CLOSURE OF THE SCHOOL

Beloved Friends,

New directions are opening up. After much consideration, Sarita and Supragya, Directors of the School of Awakening, have decided to dissolve the School and work in a new way. Sarita will continue her work in the U.K. but the organizational structure will be different. It is a decision the whole team is very positive about.

Sarita and Supragya, are each in their own way moving into new creative directions. Supragya would like more time with his family and having just returned from the pilgrimage walk of Camino del Compostello, is so enthusiastic about his experience that he wants to be able to have the time and space to do such walks on a regular basis. Sarita, while still working in the U.K is also branching out and working a lot in other countries around the world. This means, that both of them, for different reasons, no longer have the time needed to be directors of a School.

Everything will continue as usual till end of December 2010, then Sarita will open her own Consultancy business. The current Tantra couples training in the UK, including levels 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, will still be scheduled through to the 2012 level seven. Everyone who started the couples training will have the opportunity to complete it. Supragya will continue to work with Sarita as her personal business manager, and he will organize the couples groups listed above, as well as the Tantra Meditation Retreat, which happens on a yearly basis in Dharamsala, India. Other groups normally available through the School of Awakening, will be offered when organizers step forward to promote such groups.

From January 2011, Sarita will be available and open to invitations to teach, to mentor, for conferences, sessions and consultancy in the UK or elsewhere. If someone is interested in organizing such events, you are welcome to come forward and contact Supragya. Sarita fully intends that she will remain active in teaching Tantra in the U.K.

The School of Awakening Team of teachers are also available, each with their own unique talents, to offer their groups and sessions. We envision that our loving connection will continue to weave its magic in new and wonderful ways through cross promotion, or teaming up together for projects. We who have been part of this School are all deeply grateful for having had the opportunity to work together in such a cutting edge and dynamic environment as we have experienced these past 10 years.

It is the right time, because the global network links us to everything happening on the planet, and we can reach out and learn from each other in so many ways. Global awakening is where it’s at!”
