Beloved Friends, Hello and welcome to the School of Awakening! We are dedicated to the conscious illumination of all who are thirsty to awaken their highest potential. Our experience is that personal development can be; loving, playful, fun, transformative, deep, ecstatic, and divine. 2007 was a time of great upheaval and powerful change for me. In late 2006 I went through a separation with my long term love partner. After 12 years wrapped in a cocoon of sublime love, we evolved into two separate butterflies in our creative expression, and parted ways. I continued the work we had developed together, and he went on to develop a new Tantra stream, based on his own overflowing fountain of inspiration. I am graced to have a wonderful new co-director in the form of Supragya, who manages our office and organises Tantra, Angelic Reiki and Art groups. In addition to this, a beloved friend of 10 years, Nirav Chintan, has taken on the challenge as my apprentice co-teacher. I am so happy to see that his vibrant, wise and joyous teaching style is being met with open arms by our students. I am immensely grateful for his support. During this time of transmutation, I have really been appreciating how valuable meditation and personal development work is. I have been using on myself, all the tools and methods which we offer in our school. Colour Light Therapy has supported me in cleansing suffering from the depths of my being and helped me to be buoyant and balanced in the face of stressful situations. Tachyon healing has helped me to stay connected to source and has been the greatest aid in allowing me to have deep and regenerating sleep each night, no matter what was going on. Angelic Reiki has supported me countless times to find my way in the jungle of possibilities, keeping me in tune with higher wisdom. Tantra meditation has been my mainstay, reminding me of the multidimensional ways in which contradictory elements of life merge into alchemical oneness. I emerge into the new dawn more strongly rooted, and lighter at the same time. My astrologer suggested it would be valuable to try something different and playful. I invited Shivananda, a very talented artist friend, to come over from Switzerland and offer a Painting group. In a fun and exuberant weekend, he managed, through some ingenious teaching, to enable each of the participants to walk away with a masterpiece under their arm. My masterpiece now hangs proudly in my living room as a testament to his teaching abilities. The result is, we have invited him to come back in 2008 and teach an Art Group. Don't miss it! It is so liberating! In 2008 we have some new and wonderful possibilities to explore. We will be offering some Tantra days and weekends with the support of live music. The One Sky Band has years of experience in creating music for meditation and celebration. Chintan and I will also be doing more traveling, teaching in Norway, Lithuania, and Dharmsala, India, in addition to our usual program in England and France. Our school is a living breathing laboratory of human evolution.
